Over the past 3 weeks I have received a couple of emails from concerned people asking about weight gainer pills. These skinny guys were desperate to gain weight, so much so that they were willing to try just about anything – even weight gainer pills!
It’s these type of people that the makers of weight gainer pills prey on. These unethical companies label what are essentially multivitamin pills as “weight gainer pills”. The fact is, that these weight gainer pill will not help you gain weight at all! If you want to gain weight, you should be looking at weight gain powders. Here’s a quick lesson on how to gain weight…
How to gain weight:
To gain weight you need to consume more calories than you burn, every day!
You can do this by eating a lot of food and using weight gain supplements. If you’re a skinny build, you’re going to need a lot of calories to grow. While you should always get most of your calories from food, weight gain supplement shakes contain about 600-900 calories per drink and can really make a difference to your overall calorie intake.
You’re also going to need to train, and train hard. You need to get a good weight training routine and progressively add weight. As you add weight, and you have excess calories, you’re body will go into anabolic mode and start to grow more muscle tissue to cope with the stress placed on it.
That’s the basics of it. Excess calories, and good, hard weight training. This is the combination you need to effectively gain weight, not weight gain pills! Don’t waste your money on these products!
