5 Great Tasting Protein Bars – We Tested Them!
Lately we’ve been requesting sample protein bars from supplement manufacturers taste testing them! There are literally hundreds (if not thousands) of protein bars on the market so we thought it would be a good idea to get as many as we can, taste them, and post the results here!
When you’re shopping online for protein bars taste is one of the things that you just can’t test before buying a product! So below, you’ll find our top 5 tasting protein bars. At the bottom of the page there’s a list of all the protein bars we tested. Enjoy!
Top 5 Tasting Protein Bars:
1. Promax Bar by Promax
We got a total of 5 different flavors to try from Promax! (thanks guys!). We tried Black forest cake, choc mint, cookies n cream, honey peanut and lemon bar. The best tasting was black forest cake by far.
2. Optimum Nutrition Protein Diet Bars
We tasted 2 flavors from ON, choc and peanut butter. The choc was a little rich but the peanut butter bar was awesome! It was like eating a candy bar…I could have eaten 3 of them!
3. Pure Protein Bars by Worldwide
We tested the strawberry shortcake flavor of Pure Protein Bars by Worldwide and it was amazing. It was good to try a bar that wasn’t the traditional “chocolaty” flavor. The taste of this bar is similar to some strawberry yogurts.
4. Bionutritional Power Crunch Bars
Great texture and taste, these bars were pretty easy to put down. We tried 2 flavors, cookie n creme and wild berry. Cookies n creme was about on par with the Promax bar, but nothing extra special. The wild berry bar was great, tasted like real fruit (not synthetic tasting), good texture and easy to put down.
5. Zero Impact Bar by VPX
We laughed when we saw the flavor of the bar we received, pumpkin supreme! I never thought this would have pulled a top 5 ranking but it was delicious and very easy to eat. It was very satisfying and left a nice aftertaste in my mouth. It also got extra points for the original flavor idea.
